Let's stop the spread of the virus!

Regulations and hygiene measures regarding Covid-19

Based on the recent decrees of the Government of the Republic of Cyprus to deal with the coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19), the management of the Windcraft Music Center has made specific changes and has taken new protection and hygiene measures, which all visitors are invited to apply!

For the greatest possible protection of all from Covid-19, we inform you that:

  • All instrument lessons are INDIVIDUAL, in order to avoid the contact of many people with each other. Only the respective teacher and the student enter the classroom.

  • Group theory lessons and musical ensembles will take place in the event hall, with the necessary distances and observance of the allowed capacity based on the area of the space (maximum number 15 people)

  • In between the lessons the teacher thoroughly cleans the surfaces (door handle, table, chairs, etc.) and the musical instruments in the room (piano, drums). The school premises are also thoroughly cleaned daily.

  • A special ventilation system and Plexiglas protector has been installed in the classrooms.

  • Wind students use ONLY their own instrument, mouthpiece and reeds. Drums students must bring their own drums sticks. Lending / exchange of instruments and accessories is not allowed.

  • For those students who belong to the vulnerable groups, the possibility of attending the course online is offered. This method was tested during the lockdown period with satisfactory results.

  • To avoid money exchange, we suggest paying the tuition fees by check or by bank deposit.

In addition, we ask those entering the Windcraft Music Center to respect the following protection and hygiene rules:

  • Disinfection of hands with antiseptic when entering the school.

  • Regular and thorough hand washing.

  • Students go straight to the classroom.

  • Avoid unnecessary stay in the waiting area. Escorts are kindly requested to drop off and pick up students at the entrance of the building and not to wait inside the school during the lesson, unless necessary.

  • The use of a mask is obligatory in the indoor common areas of the school. The use of a mask in piano and drums lessons is recommended.

  • Keep a distance of 2 meters from each other.

  • Avoid shaking hands and touching surfaces and objects if there is no reason.

  • If you do not feel well or if you have possible symptoms of coronavirus, please stay at home.
